Phases is where the bulk of contest moderation happens. Both phase advancement and contestant moderation are done here. For an overview of the Phases Moderation User Interface, please see Moderation
Phase Advancement Controls
The Advancement Controls is where a moderator can start, advance or regress phases, as well as stop / pause the contest. To advance or regress phases, follow the directions below:
Within Phases, click Advance >> to advance the contest forward or click << Regress to revert the contest to a previous phase
Note: Clicking "Regress" will revert the contest to its previous phase. All moderation performed previously will be preserved.
Clicking Stop will pause the contest. Paused contests will continue to be viewable but will have any Call to Action (Nominate / Vote) disabled
Tip: The Phase Progression just above the Phase Advancement Controls will display the phase progression for the current contest. Completed phases will be displayed in green. The Active phase will be displayed in pink. The phase currently being viewed will be displayed in purple. Advance >> will advance the contest to the Phase listed to the right of the Phase displayed in pink. "Regress" will revert the contest to the Phase listed to the left of the Phase displayed in pink
Click Confirm
Tip: Double check the Phase Progression to ensure the next phase has started.
Click Start to start the phase as needed
The moderation tasks required change depending on the contest's phase
