Merging Nominations

During the Nomination phase of the Ballot Contest the moderator may be required to merge nominations. It's important that similar nominations are reviewed and merged so that they don't end up splitting votes during the voting phase. Let's take a look at an example!

Example: While reviewing pending nominations, the moderator sees nominations have come in for;

  • Contestant 2
  • Contezo Test Contestant 2
  • Contezo's Test Contestant 2

They recognize that all three are for the same business; Test Contestant 2, and they want to merge the 3 nominations into a single nominee while keeping all 3 nominations
