Advanced Image Edit

After uploading an image, you may want to edit it

Our built-in image editor allows a moderator to intelligently scale and crop uploaded images within Contezo, eliminating the need to use 3rd-party image editing tools

To alter the size or crop the image, follow the directions below after clicking to upload your image

  1. Click Advanced Edit
  1. Drag over the Original Image displayed in the upper window to select the part of the image you're interested in utilizing
Tip: Scale and Rotate options are also available.
  • Scale can be utilized to enlarge or reduce the size of the image. Default Scale is 1, or 100%, and can be updated by entering a number or clicking on the up and down arrows. Each up increases the scale by .1 or 10% and each down decreases the scale by .1 or 10%
  • Rotate can be utilized to rotate the image. Default rotation is 0. Rotate can be set between -180 (counter clockwise rotation) and 180 (clockwise rotation) by entering a number or clicking on the up and down arrows
  1. Re-size the selected area until you're happy with the preview at the bottom
  2. Click Confirm

If you've used the Advanced Edit feature to edit an image and need to revise it, you will need to re-upload the original image and start editing
