Sweepstakes Contest Moderation

In Sweepstakes Moderation, you can easily see what phase your contest is in, manage paid ads / enhanced listings as well as view your contest's engagement and review potentially fraudulent activity

To moderate a Sweepstakes Contest, follow the directions below:

1. Navigate to the Contests Page by clicking Contests in the main navigation at the top of any page
2. Use the search options to find the contest you want to moderate
3. Click on the three-dot menu on the far right of your contest
4. Select Moderate

Sweepstakes Moderation

When you first select Moderate, the Phases Moderation screen is displayed. This is your command center, where you moderate the contest, advance or regress phases and change phase dates.

Let's take a look at the moderation screen in detail:

1. The Contest Summary and Contest Name: as entered in Contest Settings

In addition to the Contest Name, the summary includes the contest type, the contest status, the active phase and when the last edit was made

2. Function Navigation: This is where you can manage Phases, Promotions, Activity and Fraud Prevention

• Phases is where the bulk of contest moderation happens. Both phase advancement and contestant moderation are performed here
• Promotions is where Ad Promotions are managed‍
• Activity is where contest activity is shown and reported‍
• Fraud Prevention is where you can view and manage potentially fraudulent activity

3. The Active Phase designator shows what Phase is currently active
4. The Phase currently being viewed
5. The contest's phase progression is displayed visually

ABOVE: The Phase Progression is where a moderator can view the phase progression configured for the contest

6. Contest Details and Advancement Controls

The Contest Details and Advancement Controls are where you can start, advance or regress phases and stop / pause the contest. It also shows the current phase's scheduled end date and time

7. Manual Entry Controls

Manual Entry Controls allows you to add either a single contestant, or bulk upload a set of entries. See Upload Entries for additional information

8. Entry Viewer

The Entry Viewer is a sweepstakes contest's information center. Here a moderator can see all entries, the details of any of those entries, and is able to take action to disqualify them.
